Morning report 19 Feb 19: Wall St Closed - RBA Minutes in focus locally

US sharemarkets were closed for Presidents Day. On Friday, the Dow Jones index was up by 444 points or 1.7%. The S&P500 index was up by 1.1%. And the Nasdaq index was higher by 45.5 points or 0.6%. Last week the Dow rose 3.1% with the S&P 500 up 2.5% and the Nasdaq up 2.4%.

 * US treasuries were closed for Presidents Day. On Friday US 2-year yields rose by 2 points to 2.52% and US 10-year yields rose by 1 point to 2.66%. Last week US 2-year yields rose by 5 points and US 10-year yields rose by 3 points.
