Tonight we spend a little time honoring our friend and co-host Eric Kirk as part of the "Eric Kirk Appreciation Day" being celebrated on numerous podcast today. While Eric is a regular fixture on many podcast such as The Slightly Serious Show and The Old Man Podcast and many others, we are fortunate that he has been a regular contributor to Trice Talk almost since it's "rebirth" last summer. I am very fortunate that Eric has always made himself available to fill in for Dennis Lee when he couldn't do the show. His extensive knowledge of many political and social issues is always an asset to the show. He's pretty darn good at trivia as well. Both Dennis Lee and myself feel blessed to consider Eric a friend.
We started the show with a few "Thank You" songs to help celebrate this occasion with Eric. But of course - being a Thursday night we had to talk some politics. The following topic were discussed:
- The Biden "Press Conference" today - could best be described as a dishonest sleep fest. Joe Biden started out with higher than normal energy and the average amount of blame slinging towards Trump. Donald Wayne summarizes the "high points" (if you will) - Biden used note cards to answer just about every question asked - He only took 10 questions and gave fairly long drawn out answers to each - He blamed Trump for just about everything wrong with the Border and Immigration - He lost his train of thought several times - Didn't refer to Kamala much except one time about the border - and a bunch of tother stuff you'll have to listen to this episode to find out about.
- Dennis Lee talked about the Democrats rigging healthcare.
- Dennis Lee also talked about Sorry Democrats - Biden is to Blame for the Border.
