Market Close 12 Dec 22: ASX 200 slips as last big week of 2022 kicks off

The Australian sharemarket fell by 0.45% on Monday, as the final big week of 2022 kicks off quietly. Data on US inflation, the Federal Reserve’s 2-day meeting on interest rates and the latest on Australia’s labour market are all due this week.
