Stand By for Crime - The Kidnapper’s New Shoes

Chuck Morgan and his secretary Carol Curtis are on their way to see Fred Michaels. Fred called earlier and said he was in trouble, but would not elaborate on the phone. Fred and his wife Elsie owned a jewelry store and had done well for themselves. When Chuck and Carol arrive, Fred tells them that his son Ricky has been kidnapped from school. The kidnappers told me to get together 50 thousand dollars in cash and jewels. Chuck asks him if he had notified the police or the FBI. Fred told them that the kidnappers said to not call the police, or else something would happen to Ricky. They also said that they would call back with further instructions. While Chuck and Carol were there, the kidnappers called back. They told Fred where to take the ransom, and they said that it must be delivered by your friend, Chuck Morgan.
