"Receive the Gift ... Bear the Fruit"  Homily for Pentecost Sunday. 

We receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit at Baptism and we pray that they are unleashed and bear fruit in our lives. When we as a community are confronted with action of leaders or members that have harmed others, that should call us to be more opening to the spiritual gifts and use them when we encounter those who have been harmed. We must be listeners, healers, and reconcilers if we are even to reach the world with God's love.
