Revelation 17:6-8 ”The Mystery of the Woman and the Beast”

One of the angels who had the seven bowls/vials continues to explain to John the "judgment of the great harlot".  John was astonished to see this woman was "drunk with the blood of the saints".   The attention next turns to the Beast which John had already seen in chapter 13. There is particular emphasis on the fact that the Beast will apparently suffer a fatal would and have a miraculous recovery.  All whose names were not written in the Book of Life will worship this beast when they witness his reemergence.
