The art of self care Sundays, staying hydrated and minding ya own damn business. "Living Stress Free"
On the 7th day she rested, more so figuratively than literally....... any day that i have a day off or some free time to spend on myself is a "self care Sunday". self care days should consist of rejuvenating, empowering and healing. all self care practices should include a full night of sleep, according to my doctor, thats when all the magic happens... sleep allows your body to repair it's self & is more important than food or exercise! Eating right drinking water, minding your own business, protecting your peace, meditation, masturbating, knowing your body, knowing when something is off, taking time for yourself, a day at the spa, taking solo trips, counseling & knowing when to shut the fuck up! knowing when to walk away from a conversation or anything that doesn't involve you or bring you a peace of mind.
My Top three things to alleviate stress
1. staycation- sitting at home, relaxing, take a hot bath, burning my favorite candle, catch up on my favorite shows, listening to music, cooking my favorite meal and talking to a loved one, and taking a break from social media.
2. Controlling my environment- distancing folks who drain me spiritually and mentally and minding my own damn business.
3. Planning my next solo adventure. i started taking me trips about 3 years ago to just learn more about myself and learning to have fun alone and discovering new places.
