But the way Neville Goddard uses the word is (as usual) quite different from the way organized religion uses it.

He emphatically and specifically rejects the traditional ceremonies and external pomp and circumstance surrounding what prayer means for many religious believers.

Looking deeper, he finds that prayer is actually a form of communication with our subconscious minds. He draws a parallel between The Father and the subconscious mind. He also draws a parallel between man and objective manifestation.
