The CommSec Market Update 1 Feb 23: US stocks rise ahead of key interest rate decisions

US sharemarkets rose on Tuesday. Investors were encouraged by data showing the smallest gain in labour costs in a year, helping long and short term interest rates move lower ahead of interest rate decisions from the US Federal Reserve, The European Central Bank and the Bank of England.
