As with all of her books, Dena Merriam's latest book, To Dance With the Dakinis: In Search of Self, is a study of the universal law of cause and effect, how events in our life, our deeds, thoughts, and reactions impel the process of rebirth. But what makes this one different is that she brings the Law of Karma to life by sharing a story that begins in 12th Century Tibet and then unravels the threads that link together two more incarnations of the same soul - her own - illustrating how the events set in motion in one life, led to the crisis she experiences in the ones that follow.
DENA MERRIAM has been a Paramahansa Yogananda student and a Kriya Yoga meditation practitioner for over 40 years. She began working in the inter-faith movement in the late 1990s and founded the Global Peace Initiative of Women (GPIW) in 2002. She is the Chair of the International Advisory Council of the Auroville Foundation in India. Her books include My Journey Through Time, The Untold Story of Sita, When the Bright Moon Rises, Rukmini and the Turning of Time, and To Dance with Dakinis.
