Due to scheduling compliactions and conflicts, this is a rebroadcast from March 1st, 2017, even though it's a Tuesday, but Father Koys will have a new show for tomorrow. Thank you.
On this Ash Wednesday in 2017, Father Koys is very happy to be hear and is very excited to celebrate Ash Wednesday today and reminds us that we need to appreciate ourselves and much in our lives and celebrate our mortality as Father Koys points out. He means that in terms of as we stated, ourselves, but also that Ash Wednesday is a way of seeking forgiveness and our relief of our sins. He also points out things on President Trump’s recent speech he gave last night about many things coming up. His number one Ash Wednesday thought is on the tradition of giving up something for Lent and instead, try to do something positive he says, as well as talking about doing things or giving up things that lead to discipline in oneself. Father Koys also shares on what he’s been doing prior to Lent and how he went to Florida recently and how he had a good time, and shares where he went there, including Daytona and why he brings it up is because of who he knows there. Father Koys also turns his attention to President Trumps speech from last night that he made to the Nation on several facts.
