Dragnet - The Big Girl

Sergeants Friday and Romero arrived at the County Hospital to interview Mr. Maloney. When asked about the robbery and assault, he said that he left his job at Maloney's Steakhouse about midnight, and started to drive home on North Central Avenue.  When he got to 18th Street, he saw a woman standing on the corner hitchhiking.  He stopped to give her a ride.  Soon, she pulled out a gun, and told him to stop in an alley.  She took his wallet, watch, car keys, then shot and beat him.  Friday told him that he was the sixteenth victim of this woman.
