Pain is the inability of the body to understand what the problem is that it is fighting. Homeopathy is nature’s solutions to first aid pain, pain from chronic disease, migraines and pain during and after childbirth. Any pain can be addressed using nature’s solutions for pain with both polychrest and constitutional remedies that have been prepared homeopathically and prescribed following the laws of homeopathic medicine prescribing: individual’s pain experience and knowledge of the remedy that can cause the same pain experience; when the patient takes the remedy that is prescribed that matches the individual’s totality of symptoms for the experiences, the pain is then either reduced significantly or totally absent while the body is working on the problem.
Pain is when stimuli is being sent, but the receptor in the brain is not picking it up. The stimulus is being sent to the receptors in the brain, but they are not getting the message because the neo cortex somehow prevents it. The receptors not receiving their stimuli is what causes pain. Modern medicine creates blockers for these receptors to make the body believe there are no ‘lost’ stimuli, and so the receptor is kept busy with a fake stimuli we call a blocker. As time passes, the body cannot get used to this, and the blocker becomes useless or there is a need to increase the dosage of the conventional medicine because the stimuli that is ‘lost’ is still sending the signal that is not being received because the body has been made to believe the problem is solved but the automatic/autonomic/wessen experiences this mistunement despite the suppression.
When we look at pain preventors in homeopathy we need to find the nature of the stimuli and the totality of symptoms of the individual and prescribe a pain remedy for an acute case or a chronic case of pain. In the book, Organon of the Medical Arts I recommended in a previous narrative, the 3 aphorisms 17, 18 and 20 talk about the totality of symptoms mentioned when understanding how medicines work.
A homeopathic remedy can take away a pain for first aid or bring back a pain to rework a chronic problem until that pain too is not needed for healing. Taking away a symptom does not mean the problem is gone.
It is sad the level of suppression seen in the medical first aid. The promise of making health a given for everyone, is one that all healing modalities and practitioners took an oath to ensure to the best of their knowledge and ability. And yet, they still do not include life-saving remedies and amazing pain remedies that work as fast if not faster than the recommended first aid medications, and that nature has provided for all to use.
We see the story of the conscious mind that begins blocking our healing in the story of the tree of knowledge and how we went forth and felt pain as a result of the knowledge given and the creation of the consciousness we now have as part of being human. Without pain, we cannot shut down our conscious meddling neo-cortex, and allow the automatic or autonomic brain do its thing naturally.
