GET TO KNOW Author Steven Harms

Steven C. Harms had a career as a sports business executive spanning over thirty years across the NBA, NFL, and MLB, managing a portfolio of multimillion-dollar sports partnerships. Now retired, he consults in the sports business.

As an author, his debut mystery thriller, Give Place to Wrath, a Roger Viceroy novel, was published in 2017. The book garnered two awards - Finalist of the 2018 American Fiction Award, and a 2018 Killer Nashville Silver Falchion Award Finalist. His second book in the series, The Counsel of the Cunning, was published in November 2021, also earning a Killer Nashville Silver Falchion Award Finalist in 2022. His third book, a stand alone thriller, is in process. A native of Brookfield, Wisconsin, a suburb of Milwaukee, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. He resides in west Michigan.
