Rage Against the Machine: Short Cyle Dispensing

Short Cycle reimbursement was started with the rollout of Affordable Care Act.  The goal was to incentivize long term care pharmacies to dispense medications in short cycle to control cost and decrease waste.  Short Cycle benefits the nursing home customer but is also a revenue growth strategy  pharmacies.
