Everyone is "flying" in to the studio today, with a busy day for all it seems, for Father Anthony this morning made hospital calls to visit those who are sick and injured and traffic seems to not agree with him and he also comments on how many streets are named in Chicago after famous singers, such as Frank Sinatra and Barbara Streisand. What happened a year ago today is the election of Pope Francis and Father Anthony shares a bit of history on that, as well as talking to students on knowing their parents names, many not really but some very interesting answers. Father Anthony shares with us the idea of "paying back" for something we have done in the past, for example Father Anthony shares/confesses how years ago he stole a piece of candy and the need of restitution and retribution comes up, or the difference on that, with a wedding as an example too. A major event that is shared today is the Year Anniversary of the election of Pope Francis and everyone in studio today shares how they feel about what he has done, said, helped, written, and been since he's become the Pope a year ago today, making him very appealing to people. Changes in Church Laws are discussed after sharing a bit of history and feelings on Pope Francis, especially on renewing and reform and on the idea of the changes in the definition of marriage, leading into the idea of things or everything in crisis. On a final note that leads to a topic for tomorrow is the question of "Does God chastise?" with many historical figures in mind and the idea of repentance with Lent.
