Persecution of Armenian Christians by Turkey in 1922

Lou Urenick tells how the Turks systematically destroyed Armenian Christian communities during and after the Great War (World War I), including but limited to taking whole villages into the wilderness to rape, torture and abandon them to the elements, eventually pushing them to the Mediterranean Sea at Smyrna in 1922 in a find genocidal wave. The Turkish government still refuses to admit to the Armenian Genocide.
