Market Close 11 Jul 22: ASX 200 wipes out half last week’s gains

The Australian sharemarket slumped by 1.14% on Monday, finishing at the session low and wiping out approximately half last week's gains. Weaker US futures, fears of potential Covid related China lockdowns and a busy week for markets all might have played a part.
