God's perfect picture was on the cross; everything that happened to Jesus was the Father's picture. Jesus' meat was to do the Father's will and to finish His Work (John 4:34). God was to have judged us when we sinned through Adam but was merciful enough to look for someone who could pay the debt for our sake and the only person qualified to be sacrificed in our place was His Son, Jesus. Jesus was punished for us though He knew no sin, had no sin, and did no sin. The Father had so much love for the world that He provided a substitute. Glory!!!
