Mid-Session 1 Apr 2021: Stocks lift for a second day

The Australian sharemarket is edging higher on 1 April, with mining and tech stocks lifting most. The ASX 200 has improved for six consecutive months thanks partly to the COVID-19 vaccine rollout.
