Growth is a natural and wanted change, it can be physical, emotional, and intellectual. Today Paul teaches us the importance of spiritual growth as spoken of in Hebrews 6:1 - "Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God".  Growth in truth is the antidote for deception and our adversary works in our Immaturities and Insecurities. 

John 8:44 - "He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies."
