Two weeks ago, my friend James Robinson reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in sitting down and talking about racism in light of the recent murder of George Floyd and the need for America to wake up to systemic racism. We had our conversation and I'm continuing with more. Today I am joined by award winning actress, writer, producer, director and musician, Timeca Seretti. She shares her story about growing up in Gary, IN, joining the Navy, her powerful, autobiographical short film "The Closet" acknowledging domestic abuse, her experience being black in America, systemic racism, her worries as a mother of a black man and much more! I would like to thank Timeca for sharing her story and time with me. We have a lot of work to do. Listening is the best place to start. Black Lives Matter.
