In episode 36 of The Weird Works! Podcast, Dr. Kristy Harvell sits down with Dr. Bill Schindler. Bill is an experimental archaeologist and food anthropologist and he taught at Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland, where he created the Eastern Shore Food Lab, an innovative teaching, learning, and production space. He traveled the world, from Mongolia to the Kenyan to the jungles of Thailand, to learn in person from the people what foods they eat, the tools that they use to prepare the food, and the methods our ancestors used. Bill is the author of Eat the Like a Human as well as the owner of his brand-new restaurant and teaching facility, Modern Stone Age Kitchen which he opened in November of last year.
