Preparing for Sunday – The Ascension of Our Lord

Another cursory look at the texts for the coming Sunday. This episode is for the Ascension of our Lord, which is traditionally celebrated 40 days after Easter and falls on a Thursday, but in many places the church has opted to move the celebration to the following Sunday. So, please join us in this supplemental look at the texts in preparation for hearing and understanding God’s Word as it is proclaimed on that particular day.
