In this episode we discuss that in Massachusetts in order to become a real estate agent you must take a 40 hour course. After the course you need to score a 70 or above on both the state and federal real estate test. As an agent in Massachusetts every two years you must have taken at minimum 12 hours of accredited continued education. This number varies greatly state by state so check with your state board. To become a real estate broker in Massachusetts you must work full time in real estate for a minimum of three years. In addition to that you then must take a 60 hour course and pass both the state and federal testing.
