1 Corinthians 1:10 I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.
Apostle Paul makes an appeal to a divided local church. Their personal preferences had bred an ungodly crevasse and encouraged factions. In his usual manner, he reminds them of several fundamental truths, urging that they realise that there are far greater things that unite than separate them. Why is church unity all that important? Wouldn't this all-too-important unity stifle our diversity and personal proclivities?
