Episode # 2010 – The Feast Day Of The Assumption

Father Koys is back from his golf tournament from last week, celebrating his Parish’s 185nd Anniversary and today he focuses on going back into history and “brain wrinkling.”  Today, Father Koys examines the Feast Day of the Assumption and talks about a big debate with this, the assumption of Mary ascending into Heaven with or without dying.  He shares some readings from the 1600s to help try to if not settle the debate, but share information on the Assumption and facts on it.  From these readings, Father Koys looks deeper into this subject and analyzes it, which in turn leads to the world around us.  On a different topic, Father Koys talks about the situation in Pennsylvania with priests and sexual abuse.
