Ascending from trauma, Rose has tapped into her deepest resiliency and positivity to become a much-needed maternal presence for the women of the world. Through her experiences and her unique ability to support others, Rose has created a prosperous future for herself and her six children.

In this amazing and beautiful conversation, my guest Rose unveils for us the moment she realized that she had spent years trapped inside a captivity mindset. And she walks us through how she was able to open herself up to a life of healing and growth. In the years following her abduction, Rose managed to create a safe (small) life for herself and her children.

In that time, she faced and managed to overcome a myriad of almost insurmountable obstacles (tune into Ep. 53 to hear about the specifics of her journey) and it wasn’t until September 11th, 2001 that she realized that the safe world she had worked so hard to create was no longer going to be enough to get her through the guaranteed uncertainty of the future.

Amidst the absolute chaos of 9-11 while working in the media industry, she struggled with her responsibilities to her children (who were safe) and the public she served through her work. During that time she realized that the comfort zone she had come to rely on was no longer serving her.

Going home after that day, which felt like a lifetime, she realized that for years she was still living as a captive … and that her only option now was to break out of her comfort zone and grow!
