A:  今(いま)、何(なに)をしていますか？

B: 本(ほん)を読(よ)んでいます。

A: ima, nani o shite imasu ka? B: hon o yonde imasu.

A: now - what - (direct object marker) - doing ? B: book - (direct object marker) - reading

A: What are you doing? B: I'm reading a book.
