In this episode I chat with Simon Ferrar about his natural burial ground and nature reserve in Surrey.   We cover the beauty of caring for our dead in a way that also cares and protects our environment for generations to come, and Simon shares some beautifully rich stories of the people he has served, and the impact of bringing back ritual, choice and individuality into the way we honour and say goodbye to those we love.  He talks about the need to talk to those around us about our wishes, and theirs, for when we have died.  For me personally a life affirming episode.
