How to Harness the Power of Honoring Your Season & Gaining Self-Trust

A lot of times life doesn't go as planned. We plan, we get ready for liftoff and then BOOM, life is like, "OOPS, ACTUALLY...I know you were excited about that, BUT, I've got something different on the menu for you." 

 

What we DO and how we approach these new menu items with our mindset, our hearts and our actions is what will determine how much we grow into more whole versions of ourselves, how we learn to trust ourselves ever more deeply, and how fully we get to show up for the next season.

 

In 2022, I'd planned A LOT in my business - a podcast, working on a 6-years-in-the-making passion project and launching a membership - and the Universe was like UH, NO. NEW PLAN.

 

And I found myself, on January 31st, sitting at the kitchen island with my then 8-year on the first day of our homeschool journey after she'd been in public school her entire school-aged years. She left competition dance just two weeks before, we pulled her from public school just 3 days prior...and so began a season that didn't look a lick like what I had envisioned.

 

In this podcast, I share what that season looked like for me in detail, how I navigated it, what was important about it, and what its looked like since. I also talk about honoring your season in general, whether you're being asked to go inward and slow down or to come outward and be bold. Either way, it requires honesty with yourself, courage, trust and above all, surrender and an ability to say, "I accept this."
