Market Close 20 May 20: ASX overcomes weak start to lift again

The ASX 200 has managed to close higher for a fourth consecutive session with the index closing 13.5 points or roughly 0.25% to 5573 after opening close to 1% weaker. The turnaround had much to do with the performance of the financials while IT stocks also outperformed. The main laggards included resource stocks and utilities.
