Mid-Session 26 Nov 19: Aussie shares lift for a 3rd day

The Aussie market is closing in on a record high, with the ASX 200 lifting by 0.7% and advancing for a third consecutive day. While 70% of stocks are higher, Caltex (CTX) is standing out after receiving a takeover offer from a group in Canada.
