Ep #155 - Death. There seems to be a lot of death dominating our news and our lives these days. And at the mention of death, many cringe and get frightened at the thought of life ending as we know it.  If you are one of those people, and even if you are not, I urge you to take a listen to this podcast with PhD, Author Matthew McKay.  Matthew’s latest book, entitled The Luminous Landscape of the Afterlife, answers many questions about life after death.  Matthew lost his son, Jordan in 2008 and in the process of grieving and trying to make sense of his death he also actively sought ways to communicate with his dead son. He finally had success through a technique developed by a Veterans Administration doctor who works with PTSD sufferers. Since then, Matthew has been actively channeling his son, Jordan. And through this communication with his son, Matthew gets answers to the many questions about life after death including insights on karma, cosmic reality and the connection between body and soul, which he shares in his latest book.

We have a very powerful conversation surrounding this topic, with love showing itself as the gravity that holds everyone together. And Matthew’s insight reveals a lesson. A lesson he feels is important to understand and that is for us to learn to love in the face of impermanence.
