From a small town in Wisconsin, Benjamin Mattson, decided to leave the small town for Marine Boot Camp. From his first time on a plane to San Diego he was ready for world travel. Earning the title he found himself as an Aircraft Mechanic on his way to Okinawa Japan. Learning the ropes and traveling the far east he eventually made it back to the states where he finished out his contract before entering the civilian sector and becoming a Marine Reservist.
