Refuse Ordinary S3E29: Getting Over Jesus Offending Your Culture

Welcome to another episode of Refuse Ordinary: Season 3! This season we're joining in on one of the many classes taught to level 1-4 of the full time School of Transformation. 

 

In this episode, we will be sitting in on a class called "Getting Over Jesus Offending Your Culture", taught by Maria McWhorter. This class discusses areas in the gospels where what Jesus said or did offended the people around Him, and how there was a real life-changing purpose to what He said and did. The Pharisees often got offended by Jesus as He held them to a high standard in their position as spiritual leaders at the chance that they would correct their course. What is your response when Jesus offends your culture? Are you able to course correct to align with His will, or do you try to invalidate what He is saying?
