Sermon: Out of the Depths | Mark 3:20-35 | Jesus’ Mother and Brothers

“Out of the depths I cry to you,” writes the psalmist. Trapped in the depths of sin and death, we become painfully aware that we cannot save ourselves. Yet when out of the depths of despair, we cry out to the Lord, our Father in heaven hears our cry. He, who sent Jesus into the depths of our sin and death, reaches down His hand in Christ to lift us up to new life with Him and each other.
