What should I be thinking about with Medicare in August?

• Check on what you are paying for your Medicare coverage. Many people do not realize that their Medicare Supplement premiums have gone up. This is the case because it may come out of their Social Security account automatically. We have had clients who thought they were paying about $150/mo for their Medicare Supplement when they were actually paying almost $400/mo.
• If you are Retired Military or a Veteran, call now to find out about Medicare plans that are designed to provide you with enhanced coverage and benefits.
• If you don't have a local Medicare health insurance broker, call us now! Why? Medicare Annual Enrollment Period begins on Oct 15. Now is the time to discuss with a local broker what your current needs are. This will allow your broker to research and develop a plan to make sure all your needs are addressed.
