US Close 21 Mar 16: US markets stronger again on Friday, Aussie markets higher for 3rd straight week.

US sharemarkets rose again on Friday. Investors continued to react positively to the Federal Reserve rate decision. Expectation of a weaker greenback after the Fed decision also boosted exporters. Bank of America and JPMorgan each rose by 2.9% after announcing share buyback programs. The Dow Jones rose by almost 121 points or 0.7%, the S&P 500 index rose by 0.4% while the Nasdaq rose by almost 21 points or 0.4%. Over the week the Dow rose by 1.8% with the S&P 500 index up 1.3% and the Nasdaq up 1.0%.
