Mid-Session 15 July 19: Local shares start the trading week on the back foot

The ASX 200 has started the week in negative territory ahead of key economic news from China. Most ASX sectors are well in the red the red although solid losses for financials are weighing on the Index. AMP shares have plunged after announcing that it will likely not pay an interim dividend.
