The Fine Gael MEP Mairead McGuinness has welcomed today’s vote in the European Parliament in favour of the EU-Canada trade deal known as CETA. Over four hundred MEPs backed the landmark deal which will see most tariffs removed on goods and services between the EU and Canada. But Mairead McGuinness says the agreement will be good for Ireland.
