Jesus entered Jerusalem for the final time in order to be the sacrifice for our sins. Let us respond by committing ourselves as living sacrifices to Him!
I. God's Sacrifice is the basis for our sacrifice (1)
- God's gracious plan of salvation
- Christ's redeeming work
II. Give yourself to God as a "living sacrifice" (2)
- Holy: Do not conform to this world!
- Acceptable: Be transformed by biblical thinking
Romans 12:1–2
12:1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
