Today’s hour reflects the coming of winter with the first piece “Under The Sky So Blue, Blue, Blue” reflecting a sunny, blustery winter day with Mariam’s chiming harp and snowy piano from Bob. “Oh The Brilliant Sun Burst” is a lovely ukulele-driven gypsy jazz-folk excursion with an inspired, visionary lyric from Mariam as well as gorgeous native flute passages over an imaginative series of jazz piano figures from Bob. “Good Feeling Love” is a stately ballad with elegiac piano from Bob and more graceful native flute from Mariam. Craig holds down the fort with steady conga and percussion work. “Glory, Glory” is a lush, mystical ballad in best Gaea Star Band form and “Beautiful Bouquets Ask Nothing” is a native-influenced excursion with a gorgeous piano arrangement from Bob and yet more evocative, lush native flute from Mariam in conversation with her beautiful vocal.
