Carbon taxes “distraction” from big polluters – Boylan

The imposition of carbon taxes to tackle climate change should be absolutely opposed because they’ll have a negative impact on struggling, ordinary families.  

So says the Sinn Fein MEP Lynn Boylan.

Last Thursday the European Parliament welcomed the rise of the protest movement of young people from across Europe striking for climate action.

Lynn Boylan says the introduction of carbon taxes are a distraction.
