US Market Close 22 Dec 16: SPI futures pointing to an 8 point loss at the open

US sharemarkets were little changed on Wednesday as the Dow Jones remained in sight of 20,000 points. The Dow slipped 33 points, while the S&P 500 & Nasdaq each lost 0.3%.
