Interview Fine Gael TD Hildegarde Naughton on social media regulations

EuroParlRadio's editor Karen Coleman talks to the Fine Gael TD  Hildegarde Naughton about her endeavours to secure EU wide action to regulate social media abuses such as fake news, online abuse and disinformation.

The Fine Gael TD for Galway West and South Mayo today met the European Commissioner for the Digital Economy and Society in a bid to secure EU wide regulations for social media.

Ms Naughton who is the chair of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on communications, climate action and the environment, met Commissioner Marija Gabriel in Strasbourg.
