Why is Hanukkah called the Festival of Lights? There is an ancient legend that the Maccabees only had enough oil to light the Temple menorah for one night. Yet after they lit the lamps, the flames continued to burn for eight nights.  Do we have evidence that this legend is true?  If not, why do we still call this the Festival of Lights?
