On this live show, after a few rebroadcasts due to Father Anthony being sick, but recovering, today Father Koys and Tony and Producer Nick from time to time today, the discussion focuses on Star Wars, since the new film, The Force Awakens is out and the laughs and fun start off the show pretty good today, and Star Wars being on everyone's mind today, with Father Koys hoping to wrinkle peoples brains (as usual) with Star Wars. However, Father Koys relates the Star Wars franchise to religious beliefs and Father's own reactions toward the incarnation of certain doctrines. The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy is also shared with this in mind. However, Father Koys shares his feelings on Star Wars: The Force Awakens, after recently seeing it, like Producer Nick and Tony saw it too, as well as the entire Star Wars franchise, which in turn relates to how he feels on things going around us, as well as religious topics/subjects and how the reactions from Star Wars are different (or similar) to reactions to the Bible and the Church. He also points out how both the stories of Star Wars and the stories of the Bible and Religion are similar in some way both being great stories about good vs evil, but as stated, could be difference in feelings. Tony shares his feelings on this too. After the first break, Father Koys brings the Lord Of The Rings story with this, this story also being a great story and relates to the discussion. With these stories in mind, Father Koys shares how the Star Wars and The Lord Of The Rings films/stories are religious stories in some ways. Another, obvious relation to religion and God in Star Wars many have stated, The Force. A fourth franchise of films to help use the religious similarities shared here: The Matrix Trilogy, providing more insights to religion through the characters in all three of these film/story franchises being related to Jesus and others or Jesus Figures, like Neo as the One and Frodo the Hobbit. It's worth pointing out how each of these characters, such as Luke Skywalker, Frodo the Hobbit, and Neo are all related to ourselves, that we can give in to things like temptation, such as the One Ring with Frodo and can fall.
*WARNING, towards the end of the show, there are some spoilers for the Force Awakens, so: SPOILER ALERT!*
