I understand ConnectYourCare recently conducted a survey of more than 14,000 employees and 250 employers. In that survey you asked consumers what they are doing to try to offset the high costs of health insurance. What was their response?
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) are another widely-used method of paying for healthcare needs. Did the survey reveal any trends when it comes to FSAs?
Any other surprising findings that came out of the survey?
I have an article here that just ran in BenefitsPro on something called the Healthcare Stack. Can you explain what this is to our listeners and what they need to know?
In your last response you mentioned that the Trump Administration might increase HSA contributions. Obviously there is a lot of uncertainty in the healthcare and benefits space right now, for both employers and consumers – and understandably, it's hard to make decisions when so much is up in the air. But, what should listeners be doing right now?

As CFO, Reese Feuerman oversees all areas of finance for ConnectYourCare, including strategy, financial planning, accounting, tax, and treasury as well as human resources. He brings 25 years’ experience in financial leadership as well as public company experience to ConnectYourCare and serves as Secretary to our Board of Directors.

Prior to joining ConnectYourCare in 2013, Reese had a long career at Constellation Energy, where he served as Vice President of Operational Finance, Vice President of Finance, Treasurer, Chief Accounting Officer, and Controller.

Previously, Reese was Vice President and Controller for XO Communications. He began his career with KPMG and MCI Communications.
Reese is a Certified Public Accountant and is a graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park.

He serves on the Advisory Board for the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and the Dean’s Advisory Council for the Merrick School of Business at the University of Baltimore. He is on the Baltimore Board of Directors for the American Heart Association and the Howard County Spending Affordability Advisory Committee.

Previously, Reese served on Northwestern Mutual’s 2011 Policy Owner’s Examining Committee and with the 2011 Baltimore City U.S. Conference of Mayors.
