Democracy is important for every person in the United States. Recent activities have questioned if America still believes in the song lyric, "This land is your land - This land is my Land....This land was made for you and me."  My conversation with Pastor Julian Pridgen, St. Mark AME Zion Church, Durham, NC, unmasked the notion of equality; but released hope that we are better today than yesterday.
